Price Override + Discount

Hey all,

I just found out that we can't give discount for item after we overridden it in POS

For example:

Item A we give price override to 50

and we want to give line discount or total discount again 10%

How to do it? is there any setting in AX to change this multiple discount rule?

Hi Eriko,

As per standard functionality, price override and discount both are not working together and there is no back office setup for this. it just like two discount is not working at a time.

so for this you need to do some customization at POS hand.

in the Retail parameter there is one option that is applied discount to price override..

Patch Retail>> setup >> Retail Parameter>> discount tab..

Hi all,

In below blog it is explained that a new checkbox option was added to allow discounts on price overrides.

Does anyone know in which version this checkbox was added? We are running AX12 R3 CU10 but we do not have this checkbox yet.

This functionality is introduced by Microsoft in AX 2012 R3 CU11.

Please check below link -:
