Updating Opportunity Status

Hi,

I am trying to migrate Opportunities from On-premise to Online env.

These are the steps I am following:

  • Migrate all opportunities in draft/open status
  • Migarte Opportuniy Lines
  • Migrate all activities related to opportunities
  • Update the status/status reason of Opportunities.

While performing the last step (updating status), I get this error: Sequence contains no elements

Am I missing anything? I also tried importing OpportunityClose entity but no luck.

We are using Scribe Insight to migrate data

    Hi Partner,

    This issue is a coding issue which may be caused by querying columns that do not exist.

    That may be the issue with Scribe Insight, so you could contact with them for more help.

    And in D365, you could export the data you need first by excel from OP env and then import them into online.

    You should import the parent records first(in your case is Opportunity), and then import the child records(Opportunity line, activity).

    Thanks Leo. I was using Opportunity Id as a look up key, which is a primary key.

    But when I used a different field for lookup value, it worked! That's strange. But it's sorted. Thanks a lot :)
