6A retail industry client has 120,000 released products, and when Inventory Value Report is generated in D365 FO, it takes a long time even when filtered to a specific time period (i.e. on average took 10 min to generate 2,300 lines) to print to the screen. We also tried tuning the parameters, batch processing and output to Excel, but the speed did not improve. Another issue is that the Excel output file takes a long time to open (i.e. roughly 10MB), so I want to know how everyone is dealing with this type of large report file as well.
