Lookup item by GTIN in Sales Order Sales Line table

Posted on by 55

Hello guys,

I have added a GTIN column to the Sales Line table in the Sales Order page

What would be the proper way to add ability to search an items by typing a GTIN value as it is possible in No. column? I made this column 'Lookup = true', but it seems to be not enough.

And another question: if I found some item by its number, what do I need to do to autofill GTIN column with item's GTIN value?

Thanks in advance for your reponses!

Hi, The easiest way is to use Flowfields

And there is another way to use trigger of No. field or Sales Lines table.

When inserting and modifying No., autofill the GTIN number at the same time.

    Hope this helps.
    Thanks.
