Project budget - item requirement

Hi,

I have a simple Project, time and material. 

- Use budget control is active

- budget for transaction type Item and particular Category is defined and approved.

Issue:

When I consume product via Item requirement, the budget is not consumed. The budget should be setup properly, because item consumption (same item as in item requirement) via project item journal affects the budget. 

We do not have any modifications in this area.

D365 Installed product version : 10.0.13 (10.0.569.10005)Installed platform version : Update37 (7.0.5746.35600)

Any ideas?

    Hello TomZ,

    I have not found any specific issue apart from this one

    fix.lcs.dynamics.com/.../Details

    which is still in development by MS.

    Yet, your problem seems slightly different.

    For that reason, I would like to ask if you see the same problem if you try replicating it on a different system / machine.

    Hello TomZ,

    I guess you have marked item requirement option in Project management and accounting parameters/ Cost control into group Cost commitments.

    If so, how is item setup? is it a stocked or non stocked item? it would be good to have information on item model group.

    As well check if there is a cost price set in the item as item requirement retrieves this information and commited cost is created by using cost price. If no cost price, cost commitment is not created.

    I have tested the same process on standard d365 environment, contoso data, company ussi.

    The result is the same.
