AP Aged Trail Balance with Options no dates for payments or credit memos

Here is something I have not noticed before until one of our clients pointed it out. When you print the AP Aged Trial Balance report with options it will list all the open invoices, debit and credit memos and payments. For any invoice that has a payment or credit memos applied to it, it only shows the voucher number and either CRM or PMT. I would be preferred to also so the date of the payment and the amount. Right now the user has to look on the report in other places to see that information. When I go into RW there appears to be no way to add that information. It is a series of physical and temporary tables none of which contain this information for the payment only for the invoice. Has anyone ever added these fields to the AP TB with detail?

    Hi Richard,

I just printed the RM Aged Trial Balance with options and mine appears to be printing what I thought was the document date. Take a look and tell me what I'm missing:

I could be in the dark here, but if you'll give me more information, I'll take a better look.

    Kind regards,

    Leslie

Leslie, in this I was referring to the AP Aged Trial Balance not the AR. We have a client that works for the government and they do a lot of pre-payments to invoices from the contractors. This means this report is very lengthy and it would be most helpful if the document date and amount of the payment would be sitting right next to the payment number instead of having to look for the payment somewhere else in the report.

My apologies, I'll go look at the correct report.

    Hi Richard,

I think I've got it. This is the AP Aged TB With Options:

You have to add the PM_APPLY_TO_WORK_OPEN table to the report. Create a Calculated field on the Document Amount in order to set the sign correctly. Add it to the report under the Apply to Temp table. Does this get you what you need?

    Kind regards,

    Leslie

I have added this to the report but it does not appear when I click New.

    Hi Richard,

Your screenshot turned out really small and I couldn't clearly read it. Here's what my table list looks like:

I just figured out your last post. You do need to create the table relationship first. The relationship is between the PM Aged Trial Balance Apply to TEMP and the PM Apply to WORK OPEN File. Sorry, I forgot to mention that:

    Hi Richard,

I also just figured out that I can double click on your screenshot, it opens it up in a viewer file and makes it big enough to see! Very excited to have learned that:)

Yes and then I had to link back to the payables transaction open table to get the description of the payment. They put description onto these prepayments which serve as the project to which the prepayment was applied. So this report doubles back to the payables open transaction table to get the payment description. Much to my delight it works.

    Richard,

Ah ha, you wanted the description too. I stopped at the amounts. So, did my instructions help find the answer? You always ask good questions. I never noticed that information was missing either. Now I have another modified report to add to my arsenal.

    Live the dream!

    Leslie
