.net framework upgrade for Dynamics CRM 2013 On-Premise

Hi CRMers,

Currently we have Dynamics CRM 2013 on premise. As part of Microsoft support ending for the .net framework 4, 4.5, 4.5.1,  so new .net framework 4.6.2 installed on our servers.

Our  existing plugins are targeted against .net framework 4.0

So  after installing .net framework 4.6.2 still  .net framework 4.0 is kept, so our CRM Application is working fine.

If need to target to higher .net framework 4.6, what steps need to take on CRM server / IIS server.

Do we have to change the target framework for existing Plugins and re register again?

What other major steps need to take.

Please guide.

Thanks

    See below:

It seems like it is only supported up to v4.5.2

Regardless, even though you installed a later version of .net Framework, you can still set your Visual Studio projects to use a particular version of the Framework.

    Hope this helps.
