Hi,
I have an External user :
- his tenant is based on Asia
- He has a MS 365 Subscription ( Office 365 ) and Power BI licence on his Tenant
This External user have been invited in a Tenant based in France.
I have encountered this problem :
-Not possible to use Mail account to send document -> getting error
The workaround is to use the SMTP configuration, and it's working like that.
- Is not possible to use the OneDrive connection features.
- The Power BI account used is the Power bi account in the invited tenant( France ) , and not in the user account ( Asia)
So with a Free account in the French tenant, whereas he has a Pro Licence in his tenant ( Asia )
So seems that an External User, can't have all the subscription working within the tenant who is invited.
I though that you could Bring Your Own Licence in BC tenant ....
External user Doesn't a good experience with the other Offce 365 features ....they don't work at all.
Hi, I have also noticed this problem. When connecting with other product, the Tenant where the account is located will be the main one. Many functions will jump to their own Tenant.
I don't have a good solution so far, hope other experts can give you better advice.
Thanks.
ZHU
Hi,
The External User has a BC Licence Assigned , not an Accountant One.
Have you assigned a BC license to the user or are the user invited as an external accountant?
