Partial Payments and Reminder Processes: Can Unpaid Invoices be Included?

The customer has so far only paid a partial amount of the outstanding invoice. However, this invoice is not marked as open and is not taken into account in the reminder process. Is it possible to consider invoices in the reminder process even if the full amount has not been paid?
