Okay. Let me get a new demo instance. I am looking to get a CPOS / MPOS trial experience too.

Could you please guide me the key setup required initially in the demo instance for smooth functioning without any previous stucks.

    Thanks for your kind support.

    Hi,

Thank you for your prompt reply.

I think my user have limited access since it is a D365 Retail trial portal.  I am unable to find and create the organization hierarchies feature in my login. I can see the "Retail Hierarchies" in the edit page of Stores, but unable to drill down from this too. See attached screen shot.0250.Ret3.JPG

    Hi,

Then you have to configure the Organizational Hierarchy and add the store to that hierarchy.

Organization Administration > Organizations > Organization hierarchies

    1. I would suggest you to create a new hierarchy for Retail & add the purpose of the hierarchy as below.
    2. Click view and add the store as a channel.
    3. And publish the channel.

    Hi,

Thank you for your time and input.

Yes, you are correct. But the issue that, the store's is not listing to select there in the channel categories and product attributes page for publish channel updates. So it throwing the error "Field Internal organization must be filled in".

Is there any other setup to get the store list there in "channel categories and product attributes " page?

I am using the D365 Retail trial portal and using the store "HOUSTON".

    Best Regards,

    Hi Ranjith,

Navigate to Retail and Commerce > Channel Setup > Channel categories and product attributes

    Select the store where the device your getting error;

    a. define a category hierarchy

    b. Click publish channel updates

    c. try to validate the device.

Do you have system administrator permission? If you already have it, I suggest you create a new service request to double check with Microsoft Retail support team. They will help you fix this issue next.

    Hi,

Thank you for your response and time,

There is no initialize option in retail parameter and retail scheduler parameter screen. See below screen shots.

Could you please elaborate on how to do the initialization?
