How to get the server details from RMS to connect the DB using Microsoft SQL Server?

You can use store operations administrator.
Select File>Configuration and you should be able see the details.

Did you get satisfaction with System Tools to look in to your data base?
What do you mean by server details and what exactly you want to do.
If you want to connect RMS to database you need to do it through RMS Administrator. For this you need to know SQL password.
If you don't know the PW there is a way to reset it.
I would like to write a program to fetch data from the database which is used by RMS. if I know the server and db details it will help me to write a program to fetch particular table data for our business. For that, I would like to know where can I get the IP, server & DB details from RMS.
My guess is that your server is on a static ip then you can run ipconfig command to get the IP (this should be done on the DB hosting server).
DB details i guess is the DB name and the server should be the server name(use command and run hostname from the server hosting DB to get server name). Alternatively You can get this data from any station where Store operations Administrator is running see fig below.
A word of warning.
I did the same once some years ago, but what happened was every time I connected to data base I kept loosing connection to POS and RMS Manager.
I find RMS Administrator is the best to fetch data.
Thank you for your response. Once I successfully connected with MSQL server. I would like to connect the DB dynamically from PHP to fetch data for the custom report.
