We currently use GP 2015 and Management Reporter version 2.12.13001.13.
Recently, we've experienced issues with our P&L and Balance Sheet not updating after entries are posted until you run them two or three times.
Is this a known issue? My suspicions are that we need to update our MR version. :-)

That is the best you can expect from Management Reporter. Whenever number goes askew the first step is to rebuild the datamart. Applying the latest cumulative update might help but using a third party product would be a better option. BI 360 is one option.
About twice a year we get bad results in our Management Reporter reports. We run multiple months in the same report for comparison and generally, when there is a problem, the prior months show up empty. When that happens we need to delete and rebuild the data mart to get good results. The rebuilding process seems unnecessarily complicated and time consuming but we need to do it a couple of times per year.
Given that upgrading MR is a fairly trivial task I see no reason to not apply the latest cumulative update. If you need assistance simply check with your partner. You should not have to run the report multiple times to get the correct figures. Start on your server with the upgrade and then proceed to your workstations.
