Inventory Transaction Smartlist

I am trying to see all the inventory transactions that were made in a certain time period and I want to bring in the Note field as our inventory department always adds notes as to what/why the transaction occurred. How can I get this field brought into a Smartlist?

Yes Frank is correct.

If you are on GP 2013 SP2 or higher, then you can create 2 new smart lists in Smartlist Designer for both IV Work and History tables as mentioned by Frank.

To filtering IV transactions made in certain time period, you can use Search option in smartlist.

1. Click 'Search' button on the smartlist window. (That opens Search window)

2. Under Search Definition 1 section, Select Colum Name: 'Document Date', Select Filter 'is between' and Enter From and To Dates of your desired time period

3. Click on OK to get the results you setup in Search.

You'll need SmartList Builder to do this, linking to the Record Notes table (SY03900) with the Note Index column from your inventory work and history tables (IV10000 & IV30200)
