GP 2013 Crashes upon Customer More Information Lookup

Here is an odd one. If I log into GP as 'sa' and then go to any screen that has a Customer more information button and click on the blue Customer link GP will crash. In the event viewer I see this. If I log in as any other GP user, GP will not crash. It appears to have something to do with ntdll.dll [ SystemTime] 2014-01-21T15:37:37.000000000Z EventRecordID 73133 Channel Application Computer TOC-GPTEST.culpeper.town Security - EventData Dynamics.exe 12.0.270.0 5217d52e ntdll.dll 6.1.7601.18247 521ea8e7 c0000005 0002dfe4 e94 01cf16be9ce4d844 C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Dynamics\GP2013\Dynamics.exe C:\Windows\SysWOW64\ntdll.dll f3eaf272-82b1-11e3-acbd-005056ad0009

RE: GP 2013 Crashes upon Customer More Information Lookup

    Hello Richard,

This may be an issue that is a bit more than Forums can handle, but starting with the basics:

    >>Does this error happen when logging in as SA on all machines that have Dynamics GP installed on them?

    >>On the machine(s) where this error occurs, if you logon as a domain administrator or local administrator Windows account, does the error still show?

    >>Are there any third-party applications installed for use with Dynamics GP? If so, have you tried removing them? (I understand that it's only the SA login, but we'd want to rule it out anyway)

You can start with this, but normally with these type of appcrash issues, we need to look at dump logs, debugging scripts, etc.

    Thank you,

silly question but is SA still configured in GP as a POWERUSER?
