Realtime service on my Cloud-hosted Dev box not working

I am trying to add a realtime service connection using: docs.microsoft.com/.../extend-commerce-data-exchange

However I get the following error when testing it: A connection to headquarters could not be established. This may be due to Retail Real-time Service is not running properly or the trusted certificate used by Real-time Service is missing or expired

Then I clicked on Picking and Receiving in CloudPOS because that is a standard realtime connection and I get the same error.

So is there something special I need to do on my Dev box which is cloud -hosted, thus I have admin rights on it, to get realtime service to work?

It was in the end a problem in the AOS code (X++ code) that caused the above error.

Any failed retail server event log you get? If standard RTS also call failed, it is better you can create a new service request to Microsoft retail support team.

have you attach the default RTS profile on retail store master?
