Hi friends
Every month we run depreciation for all our fixed asset
Today I am getting this error for the first time. Ther is not change except for adding new assets and making some adjustments in the assets.
any help or suggestions are welcome.

The account which shows in the error is the accumulated depreciation for Building Account.

This is coming for accounting structure setup.
You need to add FinDIm values to Fixed Asset dimension field.
Or, you can just select the default FA values in the fixed asset main accounts.

The infolog referring the account structure. Check if any change made to account structure recently if you have not seen this message before.
This requires financial dimension fixed asset tobe entered. Check the financial dimensions and set it as needed to over come the issue.

The financial dimension in the fixed asset profile has all the dimensions for all the fixed asset group.
When I create the proposal for the depreciation only the offset account appears in the journal. the error account is the main account in the settings for fixed asset profile which is based on the groups.

I checked the account structure and there has been no change to it for long as I remember.
funny thing is that this error is showing for all the journals and showing different accounts.
what I did was remove the balance sheet to resolve was to remove the balance sheet account structure and re-add it.
This I did after getting the error but still, the error continues.
any other suggestion?
Your Fixed Asset is assosiated with main accounts and hence that main accounts required to have Fixed Asset Dimension, I am assuming that is not allowed for blank entry, hence the error is coming.
As I said, you need to add the FA dimension, you can either use financial dimension while booking from fa journal or you can default fa dimension in the main account.

Thanks for your replies. All your suggestions are ae valid. I just thoroughly rechecked the Balance sheet account structure which had the main account as well as the Fixed asset Segment. Although I did not change or add any new item to it. by mistake, I removed the allow blanks that were previously set and I noticed it very late. after trying for various things
