This is not a marketing message (I am purposely not mentioning my company name). It is a query asking for your advice if there's is a market opportunity here (that my company can take advantage of).
Is there a need for a document automation AddIn for Dynamics ?
By this, I mean an application where you can design document templates in Word, Excel, & PowerPoint, and include your business logic as well as data to pull from Dynamics in them. And then set events in Dynamics Business Central that will then generate & route those documents. (There's more, but that's the crux of it.)
Do you think there is a need for this? And if so, what particular need(s) do you see?
And for those needs, what particular document(s) do you think people would use this for to generate?
Or any other thoughts on this please.
