Currently we are using LS retail with Nav 2009r2. Wholesale operations are used by Nav invoice module. . While implementing BC, Can I use BC "Invoice Module" for retail sales operation instead of upgrading to LS Central.
If your retail operations do not require extensive retail management, you can use the "Invoice Module" with some minor customizations.
If your retail operations are complex, you should use LS Central (the successor of LS Retail) integrated with Business Central which would provide the necessary retail management tools.
You can compare your current LS Retail and if you think you can map its functionalities to the Invoice module, then you can try with it, and if you think it would be too much development, then you can also try with LS Central.
If you have a lot of retail postings then you will probably go with LS Central because posting retail through the Invoice module can have an impact on the other BC processes and issues with database locking.
