Copying or splitting specific items from one task line to another

Hi,

We are furnishing over 200 apartments for the same customer.
We have created one job for all 200 apartments.
We have created one task line for all furniture we have ordered as a lot of it is bulk and to avoid duplicating each item in each apartment task line we bundled it all together.
Now we need to create an inventory for each apartment, and therefore specifying what items out of our bulk order is in each 200 apartments, and then create separate picks for each apartment.
We almost want to scroll through the main stock task line where we bulk ordered from, and select the items for each apartment and copy them into another task line - I assume we would then need to ensure our bulk order qty's were 0 and the qty's then spread out to each apartment as necessary?

Is there a way we can easily do this without building each apartment in separate task lines manually?
Do the different apartments need to be different jobs entirely - how would this work financially?
Can we split out the bulk order task line into the separate apartments (I know you can only split budget/billable project planning lines)
I have found we can duplicate job planning lines to another task line which is helpful for those apartments that have the same inventory but not all do.

How is best to build this job in the most time efficient and accurate way please?
Does anyone deal with the same kind of thing and can help?

Thank you,
Olivia

Hi, I think you can try the Copy function below, which will save a lot of time.
    Copy Project
    Copy Project Planning lines

    Thanks.

    Hi Zhu,

Thank you. I discovered this feature and although it will help in some cases, we are looking to specify exactly which planning lines to copy over from a task line, instead of the whole task planning lines. Do you know if there is a way to do this?

    Thanks,
    Olivia

As far as I know there is no good way. You can consider using Configuration Package or Edit in Excel function.
    Or consider customization directly.

    Thanks.
