Flow to transfer posts on leads to opportunity when qualified

Posted on by 265

Hello Everyone,

I am working to create a power automate flow that moves all posts made on the lead entity to the opportunity entity when the lead is qualified. I am using this guide and I am currently stuck on a few steps. Since the advanced condition editor is now gone from the create a condition step I am trying to do this through a different path.

Here is my flow. I am doing something wrong here.

Goal: Move post records from lead to opportunity when the lead is qualified.

Thank you for any help or tips.

All the best to you,

Josh

    Josh,

Check what I posted above and start doing what's written there. If you have more specific questions - feel free to ask and update this thread with your updates.

I appreciate your help, I still cannot figure out a way to even duplicate the posts via workflow or power flow when the lead is qualified to the opportunity record.

    Hello Josh,

As far as I remember regarding field of post entity is not exposed to WebApi so not available for the Power Automate but it's available for the workflows/actions - ledgeviewpartners.com/.../

So in order to work around this limitation you can do following:

    1. Create an action that will accept fields of the post as input.

    2. Using those inputs - create the post using example from the post.

    3. Call that action from the Power Automate flow.
