COA Ecuador - Andean Region

Hello,

I've been trying to install all of the features that should be included under the "Andean Region" localization, such as the COA Ecuador feature (https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh686215%28v=gp.20%29.aspx).  Even though the previous link is for GP 2010, when I downloaded the GP 2015 R2 ESLA version (linked below), the sames files were included in the "Documentation" folder, which leads me to believe that it should also include these features.

MDGP2015_R2_DVD_ESLA.zip

File Size: 2.0 GB
Release Date: 6/23/2015
Microsoft Dynamics GP Build: 14.00.0725

In the install wizard, I made sure to select the Andean Region and even selected all of the additional features (although nowhere in this list is information even mentioning the features I want to install).

Once i'm done installing and configuring, I go to the recently created company and in the Setup Configuration, the options for configuring features such as COA Ecuador do not appear.

What am I doing wrong?  Is there any steps i'm perhaps missing? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Kind regards,

Ricardo

Did you find an answer to the COA Ecuador feature?

    Hello,

I never got a response in this forum.  However, I did consult with other partners and apparently, these features are no longer supported in the more recent versions.  Guess Microsoft forgot to remove all the guides related to unsupported features.

    Ricardo,

My understanding is these features are now supported locally. You need to find the partner or partners who are distributing these localizations, in this case, in Ecuador. Don't be surprised if more than one partner is working on these, so please research carefully. I would recommend you contact Victor Huerta over at Master Mind in Guayaquil as he should be able to point you in the right direction.

    Hello Mariano,

Thank you for the reply.  That is correct, what I meant is that some of these features used to be supported directly by Microsoft in previous versions.  Now, they are supported by partner localizations.  I have actually contacted Victor previously, as he was referred by a contact with Microsoft.

    Thanks,

    Ricardo

And that would be correct. Microsoft does not support international localizations since GP 2015R2
