How can I Export General Ledger Journal Detail List to Excel without any predefined subtotals? I like to get raw data to add my own totals. The columns I need are following:

  • General Ledger Register Number
  • General Ledger Entry Number
  • Posting Date (with Filter)
  • Account Number
  • Account Description
  • Income/Balance = Income Statement or Balance Sheet
  • Source Code
  • Debit Amount
  • Credit Amount

Thank you.

I have the same question (0)

What is the issue that you are facing, this you can export from general ledger entry page by choosing the column you need and the export to excel.

Okay, I am looking at the General Ledger Entries Page. I could not add following columns:

Income/Balance - This is not available as Column or in Filter option.

General Ledger Register Number - This is the number that we see in G/L Registers Page.

There is also no Action menu to export to Excel. I can select range of Rows and try to Copy/Paste but it copies only about 60 rows.

    Thanks.

Create a RDL report with all the columns you need and then choose the option send to Microsoft Excel when priting.

Have you tried using the web service to connect it to Excel instead of exporting.  If you are in Excel you can add the data source Odata and use the general journal web service number 39.  You would copy the Odata and paste it in Excel in the URL and connect to BC.

Hopefully this helps and is what you are looking for.
