Production consumption in no's and return in sqm

Hi,

I'm using ax 2012 R3.

I have a situation in my production where I'm using some raw material in No for consumption and the balance of the raw material I need to get into the system as sqm or meter.

I tried unit conversion to set item A 1 no= 3sqm, item B 1 no =6 meter. the issue is in the picking list I cannot consume item A below 1.5sqm. and the same way item B below 3 meters.

Another issue is the consumption cost in the production order is taking as 1 no cost for 1.5sqm item A instead of half. how can I solve this?

Hi,

What is the inventory unit and BOM unit for the items you are consuming?

Can you please explain more what you mean by using NO for consumption and the balance in sqm?

Hi Rizwan,

I dont think your sqm conversation to meter is correct. 3 sqm = 1.73 meter.

Did you defined decimal precision for sqm unit of measure?

What do you mean by raw material in No for consumption?

Please share more details about your cost consumption?

It would be great if you explain in details

Also please breif about the unit conversion you have used and Unit of Measurement assigned to the item for each category ( Inventory, Purchase, Sales....)
