I have installed Microsoft Dynamics RMS 2.0 with SP2 on WIndows 7 Home premium.
One problem was ocurred during installation of all components.
SQL Server Express 2005 was not competible with this window and crashed.
I have SQL Server Enterprise 2012 edition. How can i configure for it.
Guide please.

Sorry, missed the SQL 2012 version. You can only run the 2012 version with 2.0.1000 FP2.or higher/
If you wish to stay on the .116 version, you must use the 2008 version. You can download a free Express version here: www.microsoft.com/.../details.aspx
I have window 7 home premium.
It means that i 'll not be able to run RMS 2.0.0116.?

SQL Server 2012 has only been tested for use with RMS 2.0 Feature Pack 2 or higher. Also, Windows 7 Professional or higher has been tested for use with RMS 2.0 Feature Pack 1 or higher. These may be related to the issues you are having.
RMS 2.0 includes user manuals within the software. Press F1 while in Store Operations Administrator or Store Operations Manager/POS to bring up the manuals.
thanks jeff. i tried to re install it but after the installation of RMS when i try to open the application .
it throws 5555 sql server exception.
one thing more, i couldn't find a-z user guide for rms.
the provided package just contain the configuration guides.
can't i get a complete user guide for rms understanding. atleast which can describe the flow of application?
So instead of clicking Upgrade, click New install. Instructions are the same

but as i aforesaid, sql server 2005 express was not successfully installed during installation of RMS.
Except of SQL server express edition , all RMS components were successfully installed.
Now in your above post, there is an upgradation process of existing database instance.
Could you please suggest me now.
