How to automate the creation of project resource for every new Worker in D365 Finance?

We currently create Workers in D365 Finance via an integration from Workday, which works great

What I want to do is, whenever a new worker is created - automate the creation of a related Project Resource for that new worker. Is there any way of achieving this out of the box? Is this something maybe Power Automate could help with?

Currently, we have to manually go to each new worker, Action pane - Project - Project Setup. This creates a project resource for that worker, but is quite tedious as we have thousands of employees

Depending on how the integration with Workday has been done, it might make sense add it as a component there?

You can consider using the Project Schedule APIs for this purpose. For more information, refer to: Use Project schedule APIs to perform operations with Scheduling entities | Microsoft Learn.

Alternatively, you may evaluate adding a customization to fulfill this requirement.

Alireza - this seems to be Project Ops functionality, we used D365 Finance. Dont think its applicable

Nikolaj - sadly the integration is built and already running, so cannot change it without cost incurred, which i dont have a budget for
