Hello,

The Media and Entertainment Accelerator (MEA) is supposed to be supported on Dynamics 365 sales and Power Apps.

I would like to use the accelerator to create faster entities ( event, sessions, guest,...) to manage events.

But I am sure of the required licenses...

-> Can we use it with Dynamics 365 for sales professional? This version of Dynamics is limited to 15 custom entities. Or do we need Dynamics 365 for sales Enterprise because of the entities restriction?

-> Can we use it on Power Apps ( per app license)? Correct me if I am wrong but I think we cannot use Marketing lists and quick campaign without having a Dynamics license?

-> Do we need Dynamics for Marketing to use the accelerator or is the MEA a "solution" to give more features than the default sales app but less than choosing for Dynamics 365 for Marketing ?

License requirement for the Media and Entertainment Accelerator

You can use the Media and Entertainment Accelerator (MEA) with Dynamics 365 Sales Professional, but keep in mind that this version is limited to 15 custom entities. For more flexibility with entities, Dynamics 365 Sales Enterprise would be required. Regarding Power Apps, the Per App license does not support features like marketing lists and quick campaigns without a Dynamics license. Finally, you don’t need Dynamics 365 Marketing to use MEA; it offers additional functionality compared to the default sales app but is not as extensive as Dynamics 365 Marketing..

After you've installed Dynamics 365 media and entertainment accelerator, you'll need to configure it. First, activate the cloud flows for each of the solutions installed with the accelerator... Then integrate Microsoft Teams and allow automated Teams meetings and scheduled live events.

There is no license required for the Media and Entertainment Accelerator. You can access and use it with your existing Power Platform or Dataverse license.

Yes, the entities from the Accelerator are "Standard" entities and won't count in your 15 custom entities of the Sales Pro License.
