I have created a subscription center page (marketing page) with a subscription center form but when I already tried filling up the form and submitting it, the page is always throwing the error message even though all fields are filled in or populated. Tried changing the type from subscription center to landing page and it works. Please help me why the subscription center is not working.
Hi,
Were you able to figure out how to quickly and effectively add new subscribers to a subscription list?
Thanks!
Hi Javier,
Currently I found no solution from my test demo. Thanks.

Hi Clofly,
Is there any other way than storing the customer's information as a browser cookie? Is it possible right now for them to edit their email preferences or unsubscribe by just adding the guid of their contact record?
Hi Javier,
Subscribers info are storaged in cache of browser, CRM won't recognizes your contacts if you cleaned it. I suggest you not do that.

Hi Clofly,
I have a question how a customer (contact) will be able to edit his/her preferences if he/she is clearing the cache of the browser, I tested it and when I close the browser window and click the link on the email it gives me the error message because the browser cannot prefill the fields. Is there any work around for this?
Oh Thanks Clofy. Forgive me for am I am very new to D365 for Marketing.
Hi Javier,
It's not a bug.
Landing page is used to transfer new subscribers to contacts into CRM records.
While subscription center is a management center that known contacts(already in CRM) can use to manage their subscriptions, so if your subscribers(email reveivers) are not in CRM and you send them with this type of marketing page, it will throw error due to system not knows who are they.
In a word, subscription center is for management, not for new subscriptions.
You could read these 2 articles for different purposes for 2 types of marketing page.

Hi Clofly,
Is my issue will be considered as a bug? Since its throwing the form error message when trying to submit the form as a new contact (subscriber)?
Hi Javier,
We even product engineer could not revert to the previous version since it's latest D365 Marketing online by design.
From your description and my test demo result with https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/customer-engagement/marketing/set-up-subscription-center, you can directly go ahead with landing page to transfer your new subscribers to contacts instead of subscription center. Thanks.

Hi All,
It seems that the original subscription center page has been modified as well as its HTML code. Is there a way to revert this or is there an HTML code to use to bring it back?
