Delete a large number of records in CRM

We are looking to delete a large number of records from CRM. From 4 different entities

We used bulk delete and it took around 6-7 hours to complete

SQL job also took about the same time.

Any suggestions on what is the best option to reduce this time for either of these jobs?

    Hi Simon,

    You are already following two best possible ways (bulk delete / SQL jobs), I believe you are deleting millions of records here so this amount of time is kind if expected.

    Hi Simon,

    Also try using the SDK to send bulk delete requests, batched together using an ExecuteMultipleRequest: docs.microsoft.com/.../execute-multiple-requests

    DeleteRequest class: docs.microsoft.com/.../microsoft.xrm.sdk.messages.deleterequest

    Please take note of the API limits in order to maximize your throughput: docs.microsoft.com/.../api-limits
