Microsoft Dynamics GP VBA + MsFlexGrid Control

Dear all,

Would like to seek advice if anyone know the solution for below issue:-

We have customization package which involved the MsFlexGrid Control.  I'm trying to installed/import the customization on the system Windows 7 32 bit with Office 2007.  A compile error message pop-up saying that "method or data member not found".  

The same issue with previous system (windows XP with Office 2007 and below) could be solved with just re-register the msflxgrd.ocx and re-import the customization packages.

    Thanks Mr Natarajan for your suggestion. However not much related to my case and tried some of the suggestion but no luck.

    Actually I have 2 new PCs with the same spec and software installed.  Applying and troubleshooting with the same steps that i normally do on Windows XP, one of the PC able to run the customized windows (which have MsFlexGrid control added) without problem at the end.  

    But, another PC still have the said problem even after re-format and re-install the GP application.

    Is there any other suggestion?

    Hi Ting,

    Copying  MSFLXGRD.OCX, MSFLXGRD.OCA  AND MSFLXGRD.DEP  files in windows system32 folder  and reregistering the msflxgrd.ocx fixed the issue for me long time back.

    Hi Mr Muhammed,

    Do you mean copying MSFLXGRD.OCX, MSFLXGRD.OCA AND MSFLXGRD.DEP files in windows system32 folder from working PC to the PC with the problem ? May i know what's version of the said file that you use to register? I did tried to copy the MSFLXGRD.OCX to system32 and re-registered it but no luck.  While, I din see the file MSFLXGRD.OCA inside the folder system32 on working PC.

    I'm using GP10 SP5 on Windows 7 32 bit, what version of the said files are comply/work stable with it?

    Hi Tim,

    I am using GP10 sp1,  For my issue  I just copied MSFLXGRD.ocx and MSFLXGRD.oca and MSFLXGRD.dep files from working PC to PC with the problem and after reregister it worked. I think MSFLXGRD.OCA file is not required.

    I got similar error that is not related to FlexGrid  like when reference to any DLL is missing. eg retrieve globals.dll was missing.

    Try adding  vba user form  and add flex grid control run  the form.
