RM Cash Receipts Edit List Error GP10

A control ID is missing or invalid.

Transaction will not post.

 

 All the financials balance.This is the first time in 4 years i have seen this above error and can't seem to find anything online other then what table and column the error code reference can be found in, any assistance would be much appreciated.

    Although I have never received this particular error, I do know that the Control ID usually refers to the Batch ID. Maybe change the batch ID and see what happens?

    Can you please run checklink on Receivable Open Transaction it may populate require/missing field.

    Thank you very much it ended up being exactly that. i asked them to truncate the long Batch ID they had created and it posted perfectly.

    FYI, GP2010 ver 1247.  Cash receipt entry window.  Same error.  Simply changed the batch number to TEST and saved.  Pulled up same trx and changed the batch number back to old invalid batch and saved.  No more issue.
