Pbi Income statement from General ledger entries

HI 

Does anyone know how or completed a Income statement in PBI that is linked to the general ledger entries in PBI . I ant to us the  matrix visual and also give the opstion to expand per dimension . 

I have tried it both ways  : 
 
1.  Connected to the chart of accounts ,But then the date filter does not work and if you use the General ledger entries amounts that is linked by Accc no you cant visualise by dimension 

2. creating the report from general ledger entries I cant find away tot total certain acc no. 
 
 
anyone have some ideas or experience In reporting in PBI from BC datasource

    Regarding the first question, I think this is a problem with Power BI, and I recommend posting it to the Power BI forum.
    For the second question, Power BI can connect to BC's Web Services and APIs.
    If you want to add a field, the easiest way is to add it to the BC page, and then publish it in the Web Service, so that you can find it in Power BI.
