Microsoft Dynamics GP (Archived)

Sending reports generated as PDF attachment

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

We currently are using dynamics GP 2015. When a report is printed to the screen, there is an option to send the report as an email attachment. The option for mail recipient (text) is available but mail recipient (pdf) is grayed out. What is required to configure and use the mail recipient (pdf) option. Thanks,

You need to install Adobe PDF writer to have Send Email pdf option available.

Could you please clarify what are you trying to print, because the setup is somewhat different for different modules? Mostly you should look for email settings in Adm and check the PDF format to be available for emailing the form. Once done, please make sure that the vendor / customer is marked for sending this form in PDF. You should be fine once these conditions are met.
