Smarlist-Account Transaction Folder

In Smartlist under Financial folder, there is another folder called "Account Transaction" folder. However, we will try to pull the field called "Account Number" and put it as a search criteria.  We have used "In Between" from account 10-10000-000 to 10-99999-999.

However, it show nothings.  No output listed in smartlist.

I think this report is broken.  Please advise how we rebuild this Account Transaction folder so we can use "Account Number" field (String) again.

Thanks,

Josey

    Hi Josey,

Have you tried search type Match 1 or more on bottom of the window.

Should we use "Match 1 or more" or "Match All"?

It comes up some data when I choose "Match 1 or more".  But why we can't use "Match all"?

    Josey,

Match all should work have you ran checklink against financials just not sure this problem related to that. is 10-99999-999 is a valid account.

I have chosen the option "Match 1 or more".  Then enter the account number range from 10-62010-1100 to 10-62010-5100.  However, the smartlist data output includes the result of GL account 10-10400-000, 10-20000-000, etc.   These accounts are totally out of my account range.

We usually use the option "Match All' before.   For somehow (recently), it did not display the output based on what we enter the account range.

Any idea how to fix this account number issue.

    Thanks,

    Josey

    Josey,

Try to run checklink of Series-Financial and Account transaction history from Logical Tables.

Microsoft Dynamics GP menu >> Maintenance >> Check Links

Thanks.  I need to get a production copy and restore it to TEST company .Then, I can run the check-links after that.

    Will update later

    Thanks,

    Josey

    Hi,

I realize this isn't very helpful, but I just tried it on various installations using different machines, and each worked. I used the default 'match all'. Is this the out of the box report, or was this created with SmartList builder?

Another thing you might try is to go to the view itself in SQL and try the same query. The screenshot below illustrates where the view is located for Fabrikam.

    Kind regards,

    Leslie
