Real/time marketing journey Form Submitted trigger

Hello,

it seems quite simple but turns out it is not.

There is a trigger "Form Submitted" available in the "real-time marketing" area. When choosing this as a trigger for your journey, I assume that all the contacts that submit any form will be part of this journey.

However, I want only the contacts that submitted ONE specific form to be targeted. And that EVERY TIME they submit this form they will be part of this journey and start from the beginning.

How to limit contacts based on one specific form?

Thank you in advance,

Nina

    Hi Nina,

Are you able to filter by clicking the funnel to the right of the "Form Submitted" trigger? I'm working on this too and I was able to identify the specific FORM and am using the Having 1 interactions in the last 1 days filter.

Currently there isn't a "form submitted" trigger in the real-time marketing area (I am guessing if you seeing something then it might be something custom created in your environment).

We are working on making some of these capabilities added as standard triggers in real-time marketing along with the ability to specify things like which form in the journey so that you journeys are started only when a specific form is submitted.

In the mean time the only way to enable form submission scenarios is using custom events. You could leverage some of the Power Automate capabilities as described here - Create custom Dataverse triggers for Dynamics 365 Marketing - without a developer! — Amey Holden | ABC Enthusiast & Power Platform Specialist Power Automate could listen to the Marketing form submission table row added action and use that to call the real-time marketing custom event trigger.

    Hi Saurabh,

I'm also looking for feature like this... you mentioned that you are working on some of these capabilities - are you able to give us a timeline of when it would be available?
