MRP error message: The date is not valid.

We changed some part numbers on the item card from Lot for lot to fixed re-order, also ensured we had re-order quantities in place and removed the lot accumulation period. Saved the item cards. When we run the MRP we should see demand for these items, but the parts that were switched over are showing on the MRP error log with the message "The date is not valid" If we put back to lot for lot they do not error out but also do not appear in the MRP as with the lot for lot requirement there is no demand.  Has anyone come across this error and do they know how to fix this?

Thanks

Kevin

run debugger and check, which exact position throws the error.

    Hi,

The best option is to use the debugger.

    Hi,

    the issue in my case:

the inventory of item X on a specific location Y is negative or zero.

I hope it can be useful...

note: you can find the location Y using the debugger
