Is there a way to turn off the calendar date picker for a date field

I was sort of hoping there might be a .ini setting that I can use to turn off this feature but I haven't found one yet.

Since we updated to Dynamics 2016 and upgraded our custom application to Dex 14, all date fields now have this feature.

I really don't want to have to modify every screen to increase the display field so the year doesn't get cut off when the calendar icon is displayed on date fields.

Any ideas?

    Thanks for the reply Leslie.

    I have spoken to Dave Musgrave about this and there is no way to turn this off.  I am just going to have to spend a week or two adjusting all of the screen layouts.

    Could you change your windows (not GP) settings so that it doesn't show all four numbers in the year?
