Creating System User using Web Api but record created have different values

Hi All,

I am creating a system user's record using CRM Rest Builder's WebApi. but the record created after the successful call of API is very different from the information I provided .

i.e.

(1) Last Name is different.

(2) Internal Email is different.

(3) Domain Name is different.

Hi,

When you create a user in Dynamics 365, it copies the name and other data from the Active Directory.

If you need to fill in your information, try doing this in 2 steps:

Create the user

Update the user info

HI Wahaj,

Thanks for replying.

I am updating the record from user's form.

i.e.

Advance Settings => Security => Users

I change the "last name" field but when I hit "Save", it again reverts it value to "SMSforDynamics".
