"Requested registry access is not allowed" - error while creating record in plugin CRM 2011

Hi everyone, 

I have recently setup a testing environment from production.

Getting this error when a plugin tries to create a record for a different entity:

I have tried these fixes but no luck-:

  1. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/842795
  2. CRMAppPool user has full rights

    make sure the account used for the plugin has permissions to create a new task record.

    Please check mode of your plugin, it should not in sandbox mode.

    i fixed the issue by applying below fix:

    Giving full permissions to Network Service and CRMAppPool identity account on - HKLM-Software-MS-MSCRM key worked fine.
