Excel Report Writer for AR Aging

I am looking to create a refreshable AR aging report using the Excel Report writer.  The plan is to gather the data and then use a pivot table to summarize the data by aging bucket and customer class.  It looks like I can only use the default Smartlist reports for Excel Reporting.  Any thoughts or suggestions would be much appreciated.

    is this report to only be point in time, NEVER to go backwards, i.e. historical aged trial balance?  Smart list likely will struggle with that.

    To Ian's comment it's harder to do a historical aged trial balance but not that hard.

    This is how you run a stored proc in Excel mpolino.com/.../weekly-dynamic-stored-procedures-in-excel

    Here is the store proc mpolino.com/.../weekly-dynamic-ar-hatb-via-SQL for the ARHATB
