Does a tool exist for the average user that would give them a tally of all employees across all their companies? It would be great if it could provide an active employee count per company.

    Hi Richard

We use unit accounts to track employees by department.  The in management reporter your financial tree can cross companies to get a full employee count.

If you have payroll registered i am sure that there are much slicker ways to achieve the same thing.

I was just helping someone out who is not one of our clients so I cannot check the license keys. They were trying to add an employee and were greted with the message about exceeding their license count. Sure, I could go into SQL and execute a script but I was looking for something they could use.

if the error is coming from the payroll module then yes it is a registration issue.
