BYOD Entity Export Missing Rows

I am attempting to export the 'Customer invoice journal line' entity to our Azure SQL DB. The "header" entity for this entity (Customer invoice journal header) exported successfully, and I will add that the 'Customer invoice journal line' entity also exported "successfully". The issue I am having is that the 'Customer invoice journal line' entity only exported 2 rows as I can see in SQL Server Management studio. The 'Customer invoice journal header' entity has thousands of rows, which would indicate to me that there should be exponentially more rows listed in the 'Customer invoice journal line' than just 2 rows.

I did not see anything indicated filtering taking place on export. I am not sure if this has anything to do with it, but in the mapping view for the staging and target tables of the 'Customer invoice journal line' entity, the 'Row Id' field of the staging table does not map to anything on the target table, but not sure how this would cause only 2 records to export successfully while the others do not.

Any idea what could be causing this?

Thank you in advance!

    Hi Zach,

Do you need to export details from Free text invoices or sales order invoices? If you need the lines from the sales order invoices, then try the entity 'Customer invoice lines'. The one you used now is having details from free-text invoice lines.

    Hi André,

Thank you for your response. Unfortunately, on my end I do not see the prescribed entity listed in the entity list ('Customer invoice lines').

Just to be clear, are the entities 'Customer invoice journal header' and 'Customer invoice journal line' in this list the free-text invoices? If so, how would these differentiate from the 'Customer free text invoice' entity listed here?

I appreciate your time in responding, please let me know if I need to clarify anything further.

Did you try the full push? and also can check the company (DataAreaId) you are pushing for.

In which legal entity did you create the export project?

How many invoices do you have in that legal entity?

Hey Ajit, yes we have selected 'Full push only' for the default refresh type, if that is what you are asking. Also, I am not quite sure if I am on the right page, is this what you are asking about in your second comment?

If I select 'Table' instead of 'All' for the 'Valid For' column, the data area provides a drop-down for our company and a 'DAT' data area. Selecting 'All' does not allow a data area selection

You could check what is the legal entity (field "Company accounts") for the batch job that you created for the data push.

RE: BYOD Entity Export Missing Rows

    Hey Nikolaos,

Under our job history, our Company is listed in the Company column. If I understand correctly, the other legal entity would be 'DAT' correct? If so, that is not listed here for this export job.

Thank you both for helping out on this!

Yes, then it seems to run in the correct company.

If we forget BYODB for a while, what happens if you create a new data project and try to export all the invoice lines to a file?

    Thanks, Nikolaos.

I did an export job to Excel for the 'Customer invoice journal line' entity, and even that returns just two rows. I also did an export for the 'Customer invoice journal header' entity, which I understand to be the journal headers pertaining to the 'Customer invoice journal line' data, and that exported about a 1000 rows, of which contained the journal number of the 2 transactions listed in the 'Customer invoice journal line' entity.

looks like entity is returning two rows then. Verify the base table rows, you can check table browser
