Hi,

I could see an option to create alerts in Vendors form (Option >> Create a custom alert).

Will the alert work even when a vendor is created through interface / batch or works only when a vendor is created through form manually?

Hello Sridhar,

Are you operating AX2012 or D365FO?

Without any other information, I would expect that the 'new vendor' alert works irrespective of whether you create the vendor manually or through an interface.

To be sure, I would suggest that you test this quickly and import for example a new vendor via the DMF.
