Released Production Order - insufficient quantity
    Hi,

The first thing I would check is that the location and bin code are both correct on the production journal line.  I can't see from your screenshot where it is trying to take the stock from.

The next thing I would check is that even thought the stock is sitting in the bin it could be allocated to a pick line, I see that location should be using warehouse picks so just check that the item is not already on an existing warehouse pick.

Has the component been reserved against another production order which means there is not enough left to consume?

Let me know the answers to the above and we can rule each step out.

    Thanks,
    Shauna

When try assign the Location code and Bin code. It's throwing You cannot use a Bin Code because location PRODUCTION is set up with Directed Put-away and Pick. error.

We are using Advance Warehouse (Direct Put-Away).

you are asking about 2 issues, the insufficient qty message is very likely caused by certain qty of that item has been allocated to other purchases such as other production order, sales etc. You need to find out what it is allocated to.
allocation is a rather complex topic in BC, BC has its logic allocating items and calculate available qty for an item

the second issue is likely that you need to create a warehouse pick and register it before consuming it from production journal.

    1. Created a new warehouse and having sufficient item quantity.
    2. It's working in the basic warehouse (Direct Put-away not enabled warehouse).
    3. When I try to create the warehouse picks and returning nothing to handle message

    Hi,

The nothing to handle message usually means that the stock is already in use, reserved for another process.  Are there any existing warehouse picks with these items, if you can delete them then it will free up the stock.  If you can run table 5767 then you should be able to filter on item code.

    Thanks,
    Shauna
