SSRS 2012 Page Header info will only displayed on odd pages

Hello Everyone,

I have struggling two issues while designing the ssrs report that is

1.The ssrs report will only display page header info in odd pages. I can hide even page header from the page header using hide properties using page number. But still the white sapces comes. So i couldn't change the page header height increase/decrease dynamically?

2. And next one is when the tablix rows extends to new page then column header and tablix header details also need to print. That works fine for me.

Here the problem is clients asks if the any one of the tablix extends to new page then in the subsequent pages needs tablix header with the word appended "Continued"

Thanks in advance,

Tamil.

    Hi Tamil

For your #1. I don't think you can keep a page header to display only on odd pages. rather than that, Keep the header design as part of your main body tablix control. in the "repeat on new pages" you can try keeping the same expression to print it on odd pages.

for #2. If you need continued as part of your tablix header, you can keep the condition on it's visibility property like : iff(global!totalPages > 1). So it will be displayed if the pages are more than 1

    Hi Manish,

    Thanks for responding.

For my Investigation 2 you says use visibility property under the properties of tablix header text box. But it seems that use the "Total Pages" built in fields to report body. But we can use the global variables only in Page header/ footer

So if i use the above expression in visibility properties when i check the RDL in preview mode it shows the exception that Built in fields can't use in report body.

For your reply to #1 i think its only working when we use the using one tablix in report. But here we are using 5 tablixes based on the number of rows it extends to new page and if none of the rows presence in it then the tablix should be hide and upcomming tablix should occupy the hided tablix spaces if its null

    Thanks,

    Tamil.

    Dear Tamil

I know that, I didn't say page header. I said to keep the condition on Tablix header with the total pages condition.
