Single sign on into CRM from F5 as IDP

We have links to various web apps on an source website (home portal for users). Their are often routed via F5 which acts as an IDP (identity provider) and issue SAML assertions and provide a single sign on experience for those web apps. We are looking to do the same for our CRM system. It is Dynamics 365/on premise/IFD enabled/currently using ADFS 2.0 and about to upgrade to ADFS 4.0.

Has anyone set up SSO for a similar scenario here? I'm wondering if some configuration within ADFS and F5 can get this to work.

Thanks,

Mayank
