How to setup Department ,cost centers & Business units in D465
Hi Nagarro,
Please go to Organization administration > Organizations > Operating units. Click "New and you can choose "Department", "Cost center" or "Business unit".
You can setup those organizational units in the Orgadmin module as Gunjan indicated.
This makes the departments, cost centers and business units also financial dimensions at the time you set them up as organizational units.
Doing that has some advantages but it might make the setup of new findims more complex because you have to navigate to the OrgAdmin module first to setup departments, cost centers and business units while other findims are setup in GL.
Just check it out what might work best for you.
