Create Invoice from Custom App

I am trying to figure out how to create an invoice from a custom app. I am not sure if eConnect is what I need for this however I have discussed with a fellow Dev on my team and he claims this to be impossible. I am not so sure. My custom app is WPF XAML C#

eConnect is your API to GP, it will be able to do this for both purchase and SOP invoices.

For SOP invoice header and lines as examples. There is a learning curve with eConnect as you would expect and it helps to have someone that knows GP in order to know what to supply as defaults to fields to achieve your goal.

There are also 3rd party, end user integration products too if the learning curve gets too big.
