Office add-ins - Unable to add Qiery that uses aggregate functions in a word template

Hello,

I am trying to add document data source in a word template but came across the following error message:

Is there any restriction about using aggregate functions in the document datasources?

    Hi Jaret,

    Try to create a view based on your query.Then add Sum and GoupBy field TaxValue to View field.

    Create a second view and use the view as data source. Add a query reference to the second query at the document data sources.
