Hi, we use a custom event registration form for all our Events.

However, i cannot find where to change this below.
I have filled in the form success response info, filled in the form hosting response information and still it always displays this same message.

I suspect that this is hard-coded somewhere within the Event Portal settings and we need to have an angular developer change this for us.

I just need to add a couple of lines of text and our logo.

Any ideas?

Hi,

The success message ‘Thank you for registering for the event!’ on the Event Portal cannot be modified directly on the Marketing application. It has to be modified on the code of the event portal.

This is something that you could try to make the changes:

-In the Dynamics 365 environment, open the portal management application

-Open Web files

-Open the language web file that you wish to edit. (1033 is English)

-Go to the Notes tab and download the web file

-Open the downloaded file and search for ‘thank you for registering for…’ and change that text to what is required and save.

-Upload the file back again on the Notes tab and click Save.

This should change the message on the event portal.

Hi Shania,

Thanks for this. We edit the json file to start with. I will also try and edit the html file in the thread. Going to have to use Visual Basic.

Would be great if MS provided a simple angular editor.

Hi,

Thanks for all this insight, we've had the exact same difficulty with customising the 'thank you for registering for the event' message.

We've downloaded the file 1033.json and customised as explained, although our changes have not pulled through, have we missed a step?
