Hello,
can anyone explain to me which are the main differences between the views "Release to Warehouse" from the Warehouse management section and "Backorder Lines" from the Sales and Marketing section?
If I want to know which are the real current backorder lines where I can found them?
Thanks
Currently, Dynamics thinks Open and Partially released lines to backorder lines, On both screens, I used Advance filter and the query to filter out lines that are partially released. I used Document status "Delivery note" and "invoice" which give all backorder lines.
No,
Backorder View : All quantities never shipped
Release To Warehouse : Not sent to warehouse to initiate dispatch
Both irrespective of reservation will include the orders pending.
ok that's clear,
Can I consider:
backorders view: all the quantities never shipped without any reservation
Release to Warehouse: Order lines from the past with a reservation
it that correct?
Hello MCY,
Release To Warehouse and Backorder Lines are 2 different view.
While Backorder lines is list of orders pending for dispatch for all type of warehouse, Release To Warehouse view list is list of Sales Orders pending to be released for dispatch process i.e. creating Shipment, Load & Work ID.
Also, it would list orders for warehouse that are specifically configured for WMS Process.
If hope this answers your query.
